Slewing bearing, also known as slewing bearing, is a large size bearing designed to carry combined load, i.e., able to simultaneously carry larger axial load, radial load and overturning torque. Slewing bearings are mainly provided with mounting hole, internal gear or external gear, lubrication hole and sealing device for compact design of the host, simple guide and easy maintenance.
Slewing bearings are divided into four-point contact ball bearings without gear and with external or internal gear, double-row angular contact ball bearings, crossed cylindrical roller bearings, cross tapered roller bearings, three-row cylindrical roller combined bearings, etc. Wherein, the four-point contact ball bearings are provided with high static load capacity, crossed cylindrical roller bearings with high dynamic load capacity, and cross tapered roller bearings with preloaded for better support rigidity and higher rotation precision. As for the three-row cylindrical roller combined bearings, with their greatly improved load capacity that affects the bearing height and the ability of various forces acting in different raceway, the bearing diameter of which can be greatly reduced under the same loading conditions, thus ensures a more compact host and higher load carrying capacity.
Turntable bearings can be widely used in lifting machinery, mining machinery, construction machinery, port machinery, ship equipment, and precision radar machinery and missile launchers and other large rotary device.
Model Designations of Slewing Bearings
Slewing bearings have the following two model designations:
(1) The type and structure of the inner diameter of a bearing are used for representation in two parts: basic model and suffix. The types and structures of basic models are shown in the following table:
As for suffix symbols, G indicates that the bearing ring is made of 5CrMnMo steel while G2 indicates that the bearing ring is made of 50Mn steel.
(2) The diameter of the center circle of the rolling element, the diameter of the rolling element, the gear type, and the raceway structure are used for representation.
For example: 013.60.2500 indicates four-point contact ball bearings with gear smaller modulus (m = 18) that the diameter of the center circle of rolling element is 2500 mm, and the diameter of ball is 60 mm.
